What Is Important For An Online Business? Content Or Traffic

Recently I wrote two consecutive reviews on probably the best two products online on my blog. One post is about Simple Writing System by John Carlton and the other post is about Traffic Voodoo 2.0 by Jeff Johnson. These two are the ultimate training courses on their respective domains in online business. There is no question about that.
One enthusiastic online entrepreneur emailed me asking a very fundamental question – What is important for an online business – content or traffic?
What is most important for him?
What could be his first priority?
Should he invest his fortune learning how to create persuasive content to hypnotize his visitors or should he go for leaning how to create continuous flow of targeted traffic to his website.
Both of them are highly valuable and address the basic requirements of a successful online business.
But, both of them are comparatively highly priced as well.
One can’t join both the courses at the same time because of the two main reasons.
The first reason is – both of them require a lot of money to join.
The second and most important reason is – both of them demands full time commitment from a student to exploit the highest level of opportunities to the fullest extent.
So, it’s a serious dilemma.
It’s a dilemma for me as well. As a reviewer or blogger I can’t confuse my readers too.
I have full responsibility to show my readers the best possible path to achieve his or her desired success using lowest possible investment.
I can’t suggest each and every visitor to invest on each and every product I recommend.
In my opinion it would be a crime.
But, honestly speaking …
It’s A Problem Of Having Highest Level Of Alternatives
In general, both of them teach you the basic requirements of getting success in online business.
We know online success depends on
- Value of products you create or refer
- Efficiency of your content that converts your prospects into buyers – it could be your website, your sales copy, your blog, email messages, ad copies, audio or video presentations.
- Traffic to your site
