IMAutomator is automated social bookmarking tool or link building software for Internet marketers. It automates the most time consuming task of backlink building for your websites.

Caroline Middlebrook, a resptable blogger has been working on this project for almost a year and finally she’s released the first version of this tool FREE for public use.

Over the last few weeks she has had 100 members privately testing the software and now the kinks have been ironed out.

What is IMAutomator?

IMAutomator is a suite of tools that automates your Internet Marketing activities. The released version is an automated social bookmarking tool. It automatically submits your web pages or blog pages in a list of important social bookmarking sites according to your opted schedule and automatically creates important backlinks to your webpages from that social bookmarking sites.

You just need to fill up the basic information of a webpage that you want to bookmark. Just enter the details of your webpage or pages like URL, title, description and tags (some keywords) and the IMAutomator engine will submit this bookmark to a list of supported social bookmarking sites in a completely automated fashion.

You may also choose different submission schedule from a predefined schedule lists. You can opt your links to be spread out in all supported social bookmarking sites in a single day or you can select a different option like each link to a social bookmarking site to be submitted in each day.

As soon as you submit the bookmark to the IMAutomator system you can see a schedule of all the individual links that will be submitted and as these are submitted, the progress updates so that you can see how it’s going.

Currently there are 33 supported bookmarking sites in the IMAutomator system and Caroline plans to continue to increase this to around 50 in the coming weeks.

She is hoping for the entire software to be ready by the March 2010 and it will greatly be extended with more useful features in a paid version. According to her, the upcoming features are as follows:

• ‘Spinning’ feature to allow titles, tags etc to be rotated amongst the list
• Choose which sites to submit to, or just use them all
• More bookmarking sites and more links allowed per day
• Lots of new submission tools as well as the social bookmarking

Right now IMAutomator is FREE to use. So, take the chance of using it and create the most important backlinks to your important webpages as much as you can. If you find that this tool is really doing something special for you then definitely go for the paid version.

The concept of this tool is great. But I found one limitation in it. That is – I didn’t find any big name in the supported list of social bookmarking sites. I hope Caroline will incorporate them in the near future or in her paid version of this software. If she incorporates those big names in it then IMAutomator could be the buyers’ first choice.
