Good news for Bloggers – you must be excited to know that blogs and content rich websites are becoming advertisers’ prime target for ad effectiveness compared to the websites like search engines, portals or ad networks.
David Hallerman in his article Brand Building and Types of Websites on
emarketer told that ” … ads placed on content sites get better results than those on portals or sold through ad networks.”
In his article he mentioned about the research released by Online Publishers Association
(OPA) and the brand metric data delivered by Dynamic Logic.
In his analysis he pointed out that the aided brand awareness metric was up by 38% on OPA member sites, which were basically content rich websites. On the other hand it went down significantly in case of websites in general, portals and ad networks.
